Curriculum-led Childcare
We combined the best of Montessori and Waldorf styles for our custom "Waldessori" curriculum.
Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity and foster a life-long love of learning.
Le Village explores academic concepts in a way that makes sense to your early learner. We will introduce traditional academics like math, reading, and science through our customized hands on learning experiences. Our custom curriculum will set strong foundational elements in place so that your child excels in future environments. The best part? Our parents get to play a key role! Students that graduate from our program are curious scholars but most importantly, learn to be kind community members that understand their important role in the environments around them.
PILLAR 01
Big Body
Gross Motor Control & Coordination
Kids love to move! By keeping learning on the move, our kids learn coordination and team work. They learn how to work with their friends. They learn patience when they are frustrated. They learn to control their body to keep themselves safe. We aren't just letting them burn off some energy, we are investing in some of their most important social foundational elements! Layer on some number call outs and SCORE! Everyone wins.
PILLAR 02
Sensory Exploration
Sensorial Perception & Exploration
Early learners are natural scientists. Ever played the pickup-drop game with a baby in particular? They aren't messing with you. They are naturally exploring cause and effect! Chalk it up to their first experiment. By providing children with tangible experiences they will expand their vocabulary, and learn to describe and push the boundaries of the environments around them. As children get older we will teach them to question and apply that knowledge with science and engineering concepts.
PILLAR 03
Little Hands
Fine Motor Skills & Concentration
Focus is not something organic. It is a muscle that needs to be stretched through constant practice. We give our kids time to slow down and focus. You'd be surprised how long a child can sit still if you give them a perfectly matched challenge that is interesting to them! These practical life lessons will get longer and more complex as time goes on and will include introductions to phonics and math.
PILLAR 04
Artistic Expression
Art Concepts & Creative Expression
Some children are sculptors. Some are painters. Some are future Grammy or Oscar winners. Whatever their medium, we know how important artistic exploration is to the way a child processes the environments around them. Ask a child how they feel and they likely couldn't tell you. Give a child some paint and tell them to show you.
